Biography
Zhehui Luo is an associate professor at the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and affiliated scientist at the Institute for Health Policy. Dr. Luo joined MSU as a tenure-track assistant professor in 2009. With a PhD in economics and an MS in statistics, Dr. Luo has extensive experience in epidemiological studies and health services research, collaborating with a broad range of investigators in a multidisciplinary environment. Her primary research interest is to develop and apply appropriate statistical methodologies for causal inference, estimate heterogeneous treatment effects in comparative effectiveness research with observational data, and evaluate experimental and non-experimental interventions in various settings. She has been a principal investigator or co-investigator for many federal, state, and privately funded projects.
